Privacy Policy
Effective July 20, 2026
Procrastitask is a shared reminder app whose reminders escalate until they're dealt
with. It is operated by Mythic Works LLC, a Virginia limited liability company
("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the
control you have. We keep data collection to what the app needs to work - we do not sell
your data, show ads, or run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Information we collect
Account
- Your email address, or the private relay address Apple provides if you use
Sign in with Apple, plus the Apple user identifier for your account.
- An optional display name.
- An encrypted token used solely to revoke your Sign in with Apple credential when
you delete your account (never used to access anything else).
- Your subscription status, if you purchase a paid plan.
Your content and preferences
- The reminders and tasks you create - titles, notes, due dates, recurrence, and
escalation settings.
- Your timezone and quiet hours (so nudges fire at sensible local times).
Devices and delivery
- A push notification token for each device, so we can deliver reminders.
- Records of the notifications we sent and the outcomes you logged
(done / snoozed / missed), used to run the escalation engine and your stats.
Shared spaces
- Spaces you create or join, their members, and invites you send (including a
contact you enter for an invitee).
- Tasks you assign to, or are assigned by, another member - see "Sharing" below.
Authentication and agent access
- Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only in hashed form.
- If you create a Personal Access Token so your own AI agent can access your tasks
(via our API or MCP server), it is stored hashed and is scoped to your own tasks only.
How we use your information
- To run the core service: create, escalate, and deliver your reminders, and sync
them across your devices.
- To power shared accountability between members of a space you belong to.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To operate paid features and process purchases (handled by Apple - see below).
- To diagnose errors and keep the service reliable.
Sharing between space members
When you join a shared space, other members can see the tasks that are shared in that
space. A task another member assigns to you starts as a request and is
visible only to the two of you until you accept it; once accepted, it becomes visible to
the space. This mutual visibility is the point of the app - please only share spaces with
people you intend to be accountable to. We never expose your tasks to anyone outside a
space you chose to join.
Service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service. They process
data only to provide their service to us:
- Apple - Sign in with Apple, and Apple Push Notification service for
delivering reminders.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) - application hosting and encrypted
secret storage (United States).
- Neon - our managed Postgres database (United States).
- Resend - sending passwordless sign-in code emails.
- Sentry - error diagnostics, configured to exclude personal data
and request bodies.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not show advertising or use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
- We do not use your reminders' content for anything other than providing the service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete it. You can permanently delete your account and all
associated data from within the app (Settings -> Account). Deletion removes your tasks,
devices, sessions, tokens, and space memberships, and - for Sign in with Apple accounts -
revokes your Apple credential. Tasks you assigned to another person remain that person's
tasks, with your identity removed.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Sign-in codes and access tokens are stored hashed;
sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we design
to limit what is stored and who can reach it.
Your rights
You can access and correct your information in the app, and delete your account at any
time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, export,
or erasure); contact us at privacy@procrastitask.app and we will help.
Children
Procrastitask is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from them.
Where your data is processed
Our providers process and store data in the United States. If you use the app from
outside the U.S., you consent to that processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above and, for material
changes, notify you in the app.
